Prayer Ministry

The Ministry of Prayer is about establishing a personal relationship with the Divine that enables us to surrender to Divine Order and call it forth. Prayer is the ultimate tool and everything about the ministry is grounded and growing in it.  At the beginning of every year, The Ministry of Prayer encourages the entire community to strengthen and/or develop a prayer practice in its annual PrayIN. Hundreds of people participate in facilitated small prayer circles held in individual homes across three counties. On an on-going basis, there is a drop-in prayer circle held every 1st and 3rd Monday evenings at the Inner Light Center. Partners in Prayer hold vigil during Sunday Services and pray daily for prayer requests. The ministry also provides individual and group prayer support, as well as spiritual counseling services. Sacred Passage sings bedside to those actively transitioning out of the body temple.

Sacred Passages as Pastoral care…
As part of the Inner Light Prayer Ministry, Sacred Passages provides a unique pastoral care service for our community. Through music, using singing and sacred sound, we offer love, grace, compassion and peace.  Sacred Passages members are available to bear witness during pivotal life transitions, such as physical and emotional challenges, changes in life circumstances, grief or death.

Sacred Passages blesses and supports…
In nursing homes, hospitals, and private homes, trained music ministers gather in small groups wherever they are needed, to share tender bedside melodies.

This prayerful musical blessing embraces the individual wherever they are on their sacred journey and supports everyone in the room including family, caregivers, friends and even beloved pets.

Sacred Passages Sessions…
All sessions are completely confidential. There is no charge for this service and donations are gratefully accepted.
